I have started a new YouTube channel based around my new site: Great Things to Buy. Basically, the YouTube channel lists various products that people may want to buy. The idea is that the products are kind of gimmicky, fun and occasional useful. For example funny wedding cake toppers is one of the videos I created for my site and it basically shows a collection of humorous wedding cake toppers.
In time I hope to add many more videos to the channel and hopefully they will get views and drive some nice traffic to my awesome site. I've so far found that Amazon is a fair way of making money online, though it can be very 50/50 compared to Adsense. It really comes down to the crowd you are advertising to, as you are paid based on how much they are spending. If the crowd are big spenders they may go to Amazon and buy a lot of products, resulting in a good bit of earning for you. If they are poorer, then they won't spend enough to really see a profit from the consumer giant.
The benefit of these gimmicky products is that people click them and then go on to buy other products, rather than the one they clicked on. When they buy these other products, you make a cut of the earnings.

Three Minute Philosophy
Three Minute Philosophy is awesome, and if you are into philosophy as a subject and have not seen any of this series of YouTube Videos I highly recommend you check out my Three Minute Philosophy Review.
In it I list all of the Three Minute Philosophy videos and review each of them, offering a brief discussion of each of the videos. As a student of Philosophy, I feel I know at least a little about it and while I try to avoid going too in-depth it can be good to get further information from someone in the field.
Interestingly, I read that the author of these videos had received some problems as a result of them from people in Philosophy, which is absolutely pathetic. The videos are great and very popular. In truth, he probably has had more sway over the world than many of his lecturers as a result of them.

YouTube Editors
While I have been largely neglecting my YouTube based site, after using a whole series of YouTube editors I thought it would be good to write an article and so have sparked a renewed interest in the site. The interesting thing about YouTube study as a site is that it has received regular traffic despite a lack of content, reflecting that there is a need for a site such as it. The basic concept behind the site was to create a TV Guide for YouTube, functioning in a very similar manner. However, shortly after creating the site I decided that the idea was a little silly and stopped contributing content. Now the site has turned around and grown quite dramatically.
As a result of this I have decided to write a few new articles, which I think are actually very good examples of articles and quite awesome content. The first of these is the Free YouTube Video Editors article that lists a great many free video editors that can be used for YouTube. I really think it is the best content of its kind on the Internet and as a result I hope it grows dramatically. The second of these is an article about Infinity Mirrors on YouTube, which give a fake affect of depths.

More on The Cleverbot Visitor Swarm
One of the really strange things about writing online lately has been the plethora of visitors driven to my site in search of Cleverbot related content. It seems like a really odd trend to be popular, but I suppose it is driven by the boom in iPhone and Android apps, Cleverbot being a particularly cheap one. As a result of this, almost half my daily visitors are to less than 1% of my overall content.
The amazing thing is that this is nothing compared to the overall number of people searching for Cleverbot content, reaching into the 500,000 searches per month area which is just staggering. Unfortunately, though, one of my articles was ranked down quite dramatically by Google as a result of scrapers essentially 'stealing' my content. While the scrapers linked back, the excess of links basically became listed as 'junk links' and rendered the content suspicious which is a shame as it was one of my best performing articles.

QWhatDo Complete
It has been a long while since I updated this blog, primarily because I have been very busy with my business and with designing my new site: QWhatDo. The idea behind QWhatDo is that people can join up, create information on their local area such as 'shoe shopping in New York'.
The benefits for authors are:
1. Backlinks
2. Adsense Revenue sharing
The site also includes a really easy search option for people to search the site. I have a lot more to do yet on the overall design of the site, as well as promoting it, but the core functionality is ready.

Cleverbot vs Cleverbot
I forgot to include a link to one of my more recent articles from YouTube Study but now that I have remembered I have added a link below. In this article I made a transcript of the Cleverbot vs Cleverbot video produced by Cornell labs. This video was easily one of the funniest chat bot related media I have yet seen and really is a must watch.

My New Web Design Business
I have been applying for job after job and it is proving somewhat hard to get a job at the moment, or a job worth doing, so I am trying my hand at creating a web design business. I work more as a contractor than anything else, designing small business sites for people that desire a web presence. I am specifically focusing on the Brisbane area but Australia-wide is also a potential. If you are an international person looking for web design, I would consider it though it gets a little more complicated in regards to payments.
Anyway, check out my site at:
Cheap Brisbane Web Design
The main thing I have going for me over other web designers is that I will dedicate quite a lot of time to your site for a low price. Web Design organizations simply cannot afford to do that, but I can as I only really need a single job per week to get by and aim to have two.
