My New Web Design Business

I have been applying for job after job and it is proving somewhat hard to get a job at the moment, or a job worth doing, so I am trying my hand at creating a web design business. I work more as a contractor than anything else, designing small business sites for people that desire a web presence. I am specifically focusing on the Brisbane area but Australia-wide is also a potential. If you are an international person looking for web design, I would consider it though it gets a little more complicated in regards to payments.

Headphones Guide

I have written another guide for Esoteric Articles. This particular gudie discusses how to acquire a good pair of headphones cheaply. The basic gist of it is that I give examples of good headphones for under $50. Hopefully it will work well in terms of earning money, as I have posted affiliate links to Amazon products on the side panel. The products and prices are legitimately good, so it should do well.

I am posting here mainly because I am having some problems getting my pages indexed in Google lately, its quite irritating. Since Google's changes my pages have ranked better, but have also been far slower to index.

I have also started another site, YoutubeStudy, which I have linked to on the right. With some luck I will see more traffic to it as well shortly, though I have not yet included advertising or anything like that.

Why Do People Believe Obama is the Anti-Christ?

Obama represents the left-wing of politics and as myth and religion tend towards being right-wing, specifically evangelical Christianity, a belief that Obama is the anti-Christ has seemingly risen. Belief that Obama is the antichrist is further fuelled by an immense amount of global support as well as by the 2009 Nobel Piece Prize being awarded to him. Accusations that a particular global leader is the antichrist have been prevalent before, but accusations against Barack Obama have been particularly heavy.

Biblical Mismatches

In Christian scripture the Anti-Christ is meant to possess a number of signs that identify him and many of these are difficult to match up to Obama. Firstly, the antichrist is said to not care for the desires of women, which basically means that he is not particularly interested in relationships with women. This is already a major problem for the Obama as antichrist theory as Obama is married.

Secondly, the antichrist is meant to be a man of great ability and an intellectual genius in a number of fields that allow him to solve major world problems (Ezekiel 28:3; Daniel 8:23). The idea is that the antichrist is the 'son of man', the final and full development of humanity. While Obama is no doubt a talented man he is hardly a genius in a collection of fields and is definitely not the fullest development of humanity.

Thirdly, the antichrist is meant to create a global money system that requires some kind of mark or symbol to utilize. This symbol is said to be the mark of the beast. Barack Obama has made no mention whatsoever of any plans to create a global economic scheme that would make the whole world uses the same currency.

The Validity of The Anti-Christ Myth

The biggest logical issue for the antichrist myth is that prediction generally means the future can change. After all, if what is about to happen is known then it can be predicted and acted against. Furthermore, the text itself uses very confusing descriptions and imagery that make it near impossible to truly get any information.

Conclusion As To Why Barack Obama Is Not The Antichrist

The evidence weights strongly against the accusations of Barack Obama being the antichrist, as he clearly goes against the majority of traits the antichrist is meant to have. This is without even considering the idea that the whole myth is nonsense or that by making a prediction and releasing it publicly the future has changed

It has been a while since I have given a general update on what I have been doing. Still working on my site, and t his blog. Basically, I am trying to gain backlinks from blogger in a different way than I generally have by including my RSS feed in a widget. The google panda update was beneficial for my website but hurt my various blogs quite heavily.

I have also been trying to get as many backlinks from bestreviewer, which I may include a link too later. I have learnt that having a few articles that simply do not have backlinks helps to get a website treated a little better. As such this particular post will not include any backlinks whatsoever and I am hoping that my feed widget will do that job for me.

I have also updated the general theme of my site and included the Amazon affiliate program alongside advertisements. So far it has accomplished close to nothing, though the change in site design has actually resulted in many more clicks on advertisements which is great.

Two New Articles

I have written two new articles that do not seem to fit into any of the categories I am establishing on this blog, but I need backlinks for them. Google is being particularly slow to index them, and I have since learnt that Blogger is the best way to get something indexed.

Unfortunately, it turns out a lot of people have been stealing my articles which means that if I attempt to move them my new page with the articles will rank lower than the stolen. Very irritating, Internet writing is broken industry.

Online Freelance Opportunities

The idea of working online is one I find particularly appealing and I expect many other people do as well as the market is quite over saturated by employees. It is a pity because the idea offers a lot of potential, particularly for mothers who could potentially work while staying at home with their children. Overall, I hope to review as many online freelancing opportunities as I can and add them to a complete list.

oDesk Review

It is a pity that more employers have not taken up oDesk, as the system itself is very professional and easy to use. As a potential employee, I have found the employers their nice enough though many of them want article spinning which I find questionable at best. However, some employers have even gone so far as to say that I should keep emailing them as they will give me a job the next time they have one.

It was not so long ago that Cloud Computing concepts were seen as an interesting, but irrelevent, idea. Now, they are simply a practical fact and the new direction of business based computing. I have been trying to go through as many Australian Wireless Internet provider services to review them all. Overall, they are getting better but the services I have reviewed so far I have found lacking either because of excessive prices or poor coverage.

Vodafone Wireless Internet Review

Vodafone were really promising with relatively fair prices but were ultimately let down by lack of a shaping option and extremely poor coverage. Even in inner city areas I had trouble getting reception, with frequent drop-outs. It is a real pity because the software and hardware packages themself worked wonderfully and had so much functionality. If the reception had been better, I would likely still be using Vodafone Wireless.

Telstra Bigpond Prepaid Wireless Internet Review

Bigpond Prepaid Wireless actually worked really well, but the cost was absurd. This was further compounded by the fact that actually putting credit on proved very difficult and many telstra dealers get confused between mobile phone credit (which is more expensive) and wireless Internet credit (which is cheaper, but still a bit expensive).

Overall:

Internet in Australia has always been a let down and the ISPs are not really so much to blame. We have a small population dispersed over a large land mass.

Interestingly I got banned/blocked from Xomba, which is annoying as the site had a way of getting indexed quickly. Pity.

Stargate Universe

Stargate Universe Nicholas Rush

Writing character analysis articles are probably my favourite, so I decided to do one on Dr. Nicholas Rush from the new Stargate Universe series. I got in particularly early with this one, so if the series becomes popular I think the article will do really well. Furthermore, I think Rush is a fantastic character and I cannot wait to find out more about him as Stargate Universe goes on.

I actually am not so fussed on Eli as a character, but it is interesting analyzing him in comparison to the other characters. He and Chloe, however, do not seem like they really belong at all on the mission. Furthermore, he seems to lack the eccentricities thatI think characterize intelligence.

Stargate Universe Cancelled

Personally, I was really disappointed that sgu was cancelled. While the show was not by any means perfect, it was a legitimate Science Fiction show. Its ideas were thoughtful and complex, with legitimate discussion of moral issues.

I have started to write a whole series of articles on the Silent Hill movies. Overall, I was not fussed on the first Silent Hill movie and suspect that I will not be fussed on the second either. The problem is that Silent Hill the games were really arthouse, whereas the movies are mainstream.

The Silent Hill 2 movie seems like it may be alright, but I really wished they had gone with the plot of Silent Hill 2 rather than Silent Hill 3. In fact, the first movie should have just been the plot of the second game or some unique variation of it. Drop the cult idea and run with the psychological horror instead.

I have written a whole bunch of new articles about how to outsmart the various chat AIs around. Overall the general trick is to get the bots to contradict themself because they do not have a correct grasp of language and objects of language, but rather grasp matters through simple 'if-then' statements. It has actually been quite fun!

iGod Tricks

The iGod bot proved difficult to trick because it answers a lot of mean questions with vague statements such as "It is uncertain". This is a very safe reply, but I got it eventually asking it about its age.

Cleverbot Tricks

Cleverbot was actually one of the easier bots to trick as its programming is quite loose.
